Climbing Sugar Loaf is just one of those things people think they will never be able to do. Most of them think this summit is climbed exclusively by experienced climbers. You are right, it's not that easy! You need to be in a reasonable good shape and be ready to deal with heights, but we've been taking people from 10 to 70 years old up there safely. We'll pick you up in the hotel and drive to Praia Vermelha. From there we hike for approximately 3 hour to the summit, including a 20 meters rock climb. Once we reach the summit (396 meters) you'll be able to enjoy the breathtaking view of the city. To finish we get the cable car down to Urca hill before a 30 minute hike down to Praia Vermelha.
